Obviously by my title, you've guessed that some of the favorites in my life include beer, canines, and as of January 2011, getting healthier. I also have a lot of other favorites, like my hottie of a husband (he'll kill me when he sees I wrote that), photography, chocolate, reading, Kansas State University, college football and basketball, Table Rock Lake....well I could go on forever. Mostly I'm going to write about my journey to becoming a healthier, and lighter, person. But I'm almost positive I'll mention my love of beer and my pup Wyatt at least a few times. (And ya'll can save your breath about quitting the beer, because I just don't want to. I know it'd be better for me, and healthier, but honestly I've given up smoking, junk food, chocolate, and a crap-ton of other things this year and if I'm going to get my butt on a treadmill, I'm going to need a little reward at the end of the week, and beer is it!)
I've never written a blog, hell, I've never even looked at one before January 2011. But I thought this would be a good way to keep myself honest. And if people read it and want to keep me inspired, I will worship the ground you walk on. Or, if people read it and are inspired, then that just makes my day. Basically, I just need a good kick my large pooper to get motivated to change my health lifestyle and thought this might be a good start.
One last thing: I tend to quit the whole 'fitness' thing, at least that's been the way of it the last 3 years, but that's why I started this. I want to stick with it this time. And i'll probably need a little help. So please feel free to email me anytime. Whether it's your story or a exercise tip or just words of encouragement, I'd greatly appreciate it.
