Soooooooo.....I just found out something spectacular. Actually, down right life changing. I mean...THE epitome of BaaaaaadAssssss.
Serious peeps.
This will rock your world.
A co-worker just told me that today was National Beer Day. But, wait. That's not the good part. I'm mean the most tubular radical awesome-tastic part.
This is: I decided to 'google' National Beer Day to get a little picture or something and tell you guys that I just have to celebrate this joyous event this evening otherwise the world would just stop rotating and we would fall out of the universe (and like I need more of a valid point to start my alcohol consumption). And lo and behold, when I did google, this is what Yahoo Answers and a crapload of other sites said:
When is National Beer Day in the USA?

National Beer Day is on April 7th. There are a couple other similar questions on yahoo that point to Oct. 27th, 2009 as National Beer Day, but that is wrong. Oct. 27th, 2009 is American Beer Day, not US National Beer Day. It is a celebration of beer brewed in America, not the craft of beer in general.
In 1933 during the prohibition era, the Cullen-Harrison Act was signed into law by President Franklin Roosevelt on March 23rd. That law was enacted on April 7th allowing the brewing and sale of beer in the United States again as long as it was < 3.2% (4% ABV). It's said that people waited in line overnight on April 6th outside Milwaukee breweries in order to legally buy beer for the first time in over 13 years. April 7th is known as National Beer Day and April 6th is called New Beers Eve.
